Pouncey is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accounting. William joined J. W. Hunt and Company, LLP in 1985 and became a partner in 2000. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. William served as an officer of the Central Chapter of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accounts and Treasurer of the Center of Knowledge, PTA.
